Join us for the 6th annual Ceremony Offering Acts of Beauty to the Wounded Waters of our World. Each year, in different ways, we have gathered at the Laguna to share our love for life on Earth and the waters that nourish life – along with our sorrows for all the ways our waters and Earth has become damaged and wounded. Munduk Earth Exchange

June 17 @ 12:00 am UTC+0
Munduk, Bali, Indonesia, Munduk, Bali Indonesia + Google Map

Our friends at Puri Lumbung, in the mountainous village of Munduk in northern Bali, participate every year in the Global Earth Exchange. They have done so by offering traditional ceremonies to the Earth, but holding a special dance class for local and visiting children, and by doing clean-up projects around the village. We don't yet know exactly how they will join us this year... and we look forward to partnering with them once again!

Oceans of Love

June 17

I am probably going to go solo this year so that I can sink deeply into the experience for myself.  I usually try to organise a public or group event which requires me to 'play a role' and therefore, in some away affects my own earth exchange. This year I would like to totally immerse myself in the love and joy I feel at the ocean and will be guided by the space on the day. (Private event)

Ritual for a new home

June 17 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm UTC+0

My wife and I are excited to be moving into our new home. However, the previous owner died here, and her body was not discovered for several days, so we feel that there is a kind of shadow hanging over the place. We will do our Global Earth Exchange for our new house. We'll ring bells, place flowers, and tell the place how beautiful it is!

L &M Tribute

Years ago a large cell tower was put up on top of Gould Hill in Hopkinton, NH.  It is at a site where (legend has it) a young Abenaki maiden named Lalula met a young Mohawk warrior, Mognomis, and it was love at first sight.  The two met several times and knew they had found their soulmates.  Mognomis promised to come for Lalula and take her back to his village.  On the appointed day both Lalula and Mognomis were killed…

Forgotten Springs of Doniphan

June 17 @ 9:00 am - 9:30 am UTC+0

Our small town of Doniphan contains more than 40 springs within the city limits. Benign neglect has been kinder than might be expected and the water and plants growing nearby are still relatively health. This Earth Exchange is a collaboration of several community groups to bring greater awareness of the existence and value of these forgotten springs.

Homage for Southern Missouri Floods (May 2017)

June 21
Bath, England, Bath, England United Kingdom + Google Map

In early May the Ozarks area where I used to live and the creek beside which my first home stood was badly affected  by floods. Sadly, several neighbors suffered severe damage and much of the place I lived in 2002-2007 was washed away. So, although I am in England now, I wish to pay homage to the destructive/ creative power of nature, the inevitability of change and to the need for humans to realize that we cannot really claim rights…

On the NYC Department of Environmental Protection land surrounding the Ashokan Reservoir, which provides water to New York City, there is a monument to the chief engineer on the project, J.
