Lynnwood Ridge was the site of an oil refinery from 1926-1976. After its closure, unacceptable levels of lead and soil contamination were found. The City hopes to reopen the area (now known as Refinery Park) by October 2018. Together we will heal our relationship with the land through guided meditation and a sharing circle. Moon Circle on an Eroded Beach

For our Moon Circle on the solstice, we will be at a house that is right on a creek that looks out to the Chesapeake Bay. They have experienced incredible erosion there due to the extreme weather we've had over the last year. So it is a perfect place to do an Earth Exchange with our ladies once again on the Bay.

I plan to make beauty for our own nearby Santa Cruz River and all the plants and creatures who are dependent on it, as they struggle to cope with reduced flow and toxic waste. Beauty for the Creatures

In the woods where I walk with our dogs, I have names for many trees, mostly white pine and hemlock. In the winter, I stick bits of dog kibble  into the bark, for the winter birds and squirrels.
